President Susan Scott with onery...oops, I mean Honorary Kewpie Jim Stafford, Vice-President Louise Williams and Honorary Kewpie J.R. Ripley.

Jim and J.R. thrilled Kewpie lovers at Bonniebrook by visiting with us during Saturday's Open House & Tea and signing copies of Bum Rap in Branson, written by J.R. Ripley and featuring Branson's beloved Jim Stafford.

Jim and J.R. enjoyed meeting local artist Marcia Hamlin of Paintbox Studio and Creative Arts Center in Hollister, Missouri and her talented students; Valerie Breckenridge, of Reeds Spring, Amanda Hewett, of Branson, Jenny Sale, of Branson, Anna Spence, of Branson, and Lilline Wagner of Hollister.   Visitors to the Open House & Tea were treated to an art show of works by these amazing ladies as well as the opportunity to watch them as they created their masterpieces!

Musical entertainment was provided by Turnback Creek Trio, also known as Lola Clark, Judy Gannon and Virginia Snyder.

Jim's assistants, Sara Bolend and Theresa Childers, tried to keep an eye on the boisterous entertainer

But while Miss Virginia's country songs were keeping everyone glued to the stage,

Jim had ideas of his own~

It's a good thing Chuck showed up and reminded Jim about the booksigning, or we might have had to pull CeeCee out of the Witness Protection Program to help us raise bail money!

Bail money?  CeeCee Kewpie? Witness Protection Program?  You'd better buy the book, so you'll know what everyone at Bonniebrook is talking about!

All's well that ends well...our new caretakers, CB and Arlene Willmore have had the thrill of their very first Kewpiesta --
